The study aims to develop effective diagnostic tools for identifying and assessing professional deficits among inclusive education teachers implementing adapted basic general programmes students with mental retardation (hereinafter referred as ABGEP MR). paper discusses a that is being conducted currently at the State Autonomous Institution of Additional Professional Education Irkutsk Region “Education Development Institute Region” - SAI APE EDI), within framework which standardised assessment procedures are developed practically evaluated identify assess additional programmes, including those aimed developing competencies in field health limitations HL).
